PermPilot connects a model you choose to the live server context it needs. Ask for permission work in ordinary language, then let the plugin inspect and manage LuckPerms through its supported tools.
What makes it useful
PermPilot is not a chatbot detached from the server. It can inspect loaded plugin information, find declared permission nodes and work with users, groups, ranks, tracks, inheritance, prefixes, suffixes, metadata, contexts and temporary durations in LuckPerms.

Administrators can work from in-game chat or the console. Conversation history supports multi-turn requests, while compression helps keep longer sessions within the configured model context.
Bring your own model
PermPilot does not host or bundle an AI model, endpoint or API key. Configure an OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions service that fits your requirements. Supported examples include OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Ollama, LM Studio, LocalAI and vLLM.
Operational controls
Requests are protected with concurrency handling, cancellation confirmation, session diagnostics and a configurable maximum number of agent iterations. A master configuration switch can disable PermPilot without uninstalling it.
Who it is for
PermPilot is aimed at Minecraft server owners, moderators and administrators who use LuckPerms and want faster, more understandable permission workflows. It requires Minecraft 1.21+ minimum and also works with 26+ on Paper, Purpur and Spigot. It currently supports LuckPerms rather than acting as a universal permission-plugin abstraction.
